The structure of three levels are clear,

A.Sealed Layer
Filter paper and dripper fit fully. There is no groove between them. Water can’t pass. It can control the water-flow when you pour in a larger water flow.
B. Water Layer
It’s recommended to pour water within this layer.
Since the area of the concaves is gradually reduced, it will be easier for you to control the flow rate.
C.Coffee Layer
15 / 20g ground coffee will just take over this layer.
There are not many ribs in this layer but more grooves.It’s similar to the flannel-like extraction.
