Our grinder is not washable because the parts may rust, and it might cause damage to the machine.
If you are concerned about it, you can take the metal burrs out and wipe them with alcohol wipes, of course you can also wipe the body part as you like. But to wash it, either washing it under the tap or soak it in water should be prohibited.
Another thing you can do is to grind a small amount of coffee beans and then discard the fines, it also helps remove the dust or other possible residues during manufacturing/transportation.
