Can I heat up the pour-over kettle directly, for example on a stove/induction stove?

It' s not recommended to heat it directly with any cooker like induction, gas burner or stove etc.
The material is SUS304, therefore it would become very hot when heating it directly, and there is the risk of getting scalded. 
Furthermore, if put on an induction stove, the heating efficicency is relatively low.
